Hello friends!
This journey we are on is hard. Between all the temptations we face and hardships of staying on plan, then hardest part is when we hit a wall and the weight stops falling off. So what do you do? First off, they saying, “Keep your why near by” is super important. When times get difficult your why is what keeps you going. It reminds you to keep pushing and these hardships aren’t for nothing. For me, my why is myself. I’m unmarried with only fur babies. Currently my dogs and myself are the most important things in my life. Second, this is a marathon not a sprint. It takes time. It doesn’t happen overnight. The weight we gain didn’t happen overnight neither does the weight loss. It is a process and a journey. So many factors play into our weight from hormones to medicines even stress can play into it. As your journey progresses you learn how to handle things that cause gains and realizing what may cause a gain for you personally. I also suggest changing things up. If you eat the same thing all the time, maybe switch up your meal plans. Change your breakfast. Try a new meal prep. Sometimes little changes can make a huge difference. Lastly, find support. This journey is a long haul. In reality this journey will last us the remainder of our lives and you have to have support. In the WW community there are several avenues of support. Those are coaches, connect(WW social media), meetings and social media. Instagram has been my biggest support squad. These internet strangers have become some of my biggest cheerleaders. I wouldn’t trade them for the world. This journey has so many ups and downs, but in the end this journey is the most important thing we can do for ourselves. I hope these tips help! Let me know in the comments if you have any other tips to get over a hump in the journey. Love always, Mikala💕
